Augustine Creek (near Port Wentworth)

A tributary to the Savannah River, Augustine Creek, often mistakenly referred to as Saint Augustine Creek (a nearby creek), is named after an early settler from 1734, Walter Augustine. The area is abundant with wildlife like fish, many species of birds, and quite a few alligators.
