Lewis Frasier Middle School
Lewis Frasier Middle School is in Hinesville, GA. The school is named after Mr. Lewis Frasier (1904-1974) who was from Liberty County and attended Dorchester Academy. Mr. Frasier started his career in the pulpwood industry, owning and operating Lewis Frasier Pulpwood Co. He also owned a convenience store, farmed and raised cattle on Lewis Grasier Road, and was the president of Dorchester Federal Credit Union. He was also the first black member of the Board of Education and helped acquire land for Liberty County High School. Mr. Frasier was involved in the church community as the founder and pastor for Soloman Temple Church Midway and the pastor for Gospel Light Church in Sylvania.
