Little Cumberland Island Lighthouse

Private lighthouse at the tip of Little Cumberland Island. It is sixty feet in height and from 1838 and 1915. The light when in service marked the entrance to St. Andrew Sound and the Satilla River. and a shoal that extends about 6 nautical miles to the Southeast.This site is on the National Register of Historical Places.
