Midway Congregational Church

Midway Congregational Church is a United Church of Christ. It was formed by Puritans and Congregationalists when they settled in Liberty County. After the church was destroyed in the Revolutionary war, it was rebuilt in 1792. When slavery ended, the white members that established the church abandoned the building. The church has a nearby memorial cemetery for fallen soldiers of the Revolutionary War.
