Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum

Museum commemorating the Eighth Air Force, a contingent of American pilots who played a crucial role in orchestrating the defeat of Nazi Germany. The group first organized in Savannah, not far from where the museum stands today. A restored B-17G fighter, the "City of Savannah," is exhibited alongside donated personal artifacts.
