Oglethorpe Charter School

Charter school in the Bacon Park area of Savannah that opened in 1999 with the original name of Oglethorpe Academy. Named for Georgia founder James Oglethorpe. Oglethorpe Charter School was the first start-up charter middle school in Georgia. In 2012, the charter school was relocated to Savannah, GA. The school serves 600 students ranging from sixth to eighth grade.
