Ossabaw Boneyard Beach

Ossabaw Boneyard Beach is near the Southend Beach of Ossabaw Island. It’s known for photographers documenting its austere nature. It shows where a forest used to be. Here there has been a tremendous amount of sand that has been pulled Ossabaw Island down by longshore drift. As the sea level is going up and after Hurricane Matthew visited here in 2017, the sand shifted further west and more into the forest.
