Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church
Catholic church established in the early 20th century, originally to provide services to workers employed by the Savannah Sugar Refinery. It acquired its modern name, Our Lady of Lourdes, on January 1, 1940. The church building was established from a donation from the Catholic Church Extension Society. In 1958, the parish created a grotto to honor the centennial of Our Lady's appearance at Lourdes, France. The church hosts mass service in English and Spanish.
