Pierce County Jail

Also known as the Blackshear Jail it was built in 1894. The original 1880 jail burned down so a brick structurre was built in 1894. It was in operation until 196 and then was used as a city hall and police headquarters until 1976. It is currently unoccupied. This site is on the National Register of Historical Places.
