Plum Orchard Mansion
Plum Orchard is a historic Georgian Revival mansion located on Cumberland Island in Camden County, Georgia. Constructed in 1898 by Lucy Carnegie for her son, George Lauder Carnegie, and his wife, Margaret Thaw, the 22,000-square-foot estate offers a glimpse into the opulent lifestyle of the Carnegie family during the Gilded Age. It was donated to the National Park Foundation in 1971.
