Saint Cyprians Episcopal Church

This Episcopal church was organized in 1875 to provide services to freed slaves in Darien. It is named for an African saint, Cyprian of Carthage, and has survived multiple hurricanes. The building is made of tabby, a type of concrete derived from oyster shells that characterizes many historic structures on the Georgia coast.
