Savannah City Hall

Savannah's city hall building, completed in 1906. Its golden dome is a much more recent addition: until the late 1980s, the copper underneath the gold leaf was left exposed. The building occupies a site that hosted other early municipal structures (such as a post office) in the 19th century.
