Seabrook Village

Seabrook is an unincorporated community in Georgia. It was originally built by former slaves and named after a nearby brook which empties into the sea. Seabrook Village Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to research, education, and the authentic portrayal of the Reconstruction culture and environment of its rural African-American community in coastal Georgia from 1865-1930. Features include the Old Seabrook School, the Gibbons-Woodard House, Cane Mill, Sam Ripley's Corn Crib, the Delegal-Williams House, and Bowens Farm.
