Sylvester Mumford House

A historic residence in Brantley County near Waynesville built in 1848. Reportedly, the house burned in 2005. It was he home of Sylvester Mumford (1810-1889), who owned a store in Waynesville and served as Postmaster. This site is on the National Register of Historical Places.
